BLM will start again this year. Padron is NOT the second coming. Anyone that was at the game had to see that he too struggles with certain things. Sacked 5 times, but more mobile???? The first long pass was a wounded duck and a receiver went up and got it. Yes, he has better touch if you call floating the ball "touch". Overthrew open recievers on longer passes. Give it time. He has not progressed as those on this board would make one think he has. In fact, if not for a stellar running game and much better special teams this past week, outcome would have been different.

Call me a "homer", "family", "friend" or anything else (Fiji). Fact is, he is not the future of this team.

he has had 2 games to improve. BLM has had.....17?

give the kid a shot. the fact that he's at worst - on par with BLM - makes me think he should keep getting a chance to prove himself. BLM had his shot.

Yeah. I thought that was ironic. Was suspended against them the last time we were trying to get bowl eligible and now he shows up when he is not on the team.

this makes me nervous. we have actually had conversations about leaving it at home, and requesting a generic reprint on saturday

Nobody said that Padron was the second coming. But BLM does need more time for that shoulder to completely heal so that he can take a hard hit on it.

Your boy is done. But he better show the maturity of wearing the second spot on the roster and coming back in should something happen to Padron.

Its natural and expected that you support Bo. But in your analysis of Padron's game, you are REACHING. And it's pretty obvious who the receivers are playing for. It's the guy who has started the last two games.

BTW, I appreciate the fact you support the program ONLY if Mitchell plays well and SMU wins. That last comment about running and special teams speaks of ME ME ME. That crap we don't need. And here's the deal smart guy -- that running game has been here all season and so have the special teams (see McCann's returned for TD on the blocked FG against ECU).

If there are conditions attached to your support of the program, I suggest you check them and door and walk away.

Padron struggles with:
Releasing fast enough
accuracy on the very long ball

BM struggles with:
Throwing to the right team
throwing to allow YAC
staring at one receiver and throwing into triple coverage, missing the guy wide open by himself

It is very obvious to anyone who has watched the video interviews with the WR's on the pay sites that the WR's all favor Padron.

BM has been flushed.

Give them both a shot. Neither has played his best football yet, and we'll need them both (and Smith).

Bench. That should be the word on Mitchell for UTEP.

You could also substitute the words "backup" or "clipboard".

It is a rare occasion when GSP and Couch'em are in agreement.

Wow RedRiverPony, you and giacfsp have the same somewhat unique avatar. I don't think I have seen that before. And it seems you guys changed them recently.
