I think these are funny. It illustrates the ridiculousness of the "skip the liberty bowl" crowd. Of course - in the end we will go if we win out and we won't if we don't - so I don't think it is much of a controversy anyway.....but

I'll rephrase Dutch's "question" for you: Dutch: "Really?...really dude, are you going to start another thread on this? Really?"

What would suck is to get into the Liberty Bowl and have all 1,200 of our traveling fans show up, further embarrassing SMU.
If we go to Hawaii, the damn bowl will be damn near a sell-out (b/c it's a Hawaiian tradition), and no one will notice the 120 SMU fans (rather, they won't even consider that very few SMU fans are there).
I'd rather see them go to Hawaii until we have some fan-momentum under our belt.
Seriously, can you imaging 1200 "fans" at our BOWL game? No one would ever invite us again.

I'd bet you an adult beverage SMU has more than 1200 people at a bowl game.
Sir, shooting-star, sir. Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.

I truly believe you're numbers to be accurate. I may go to Acapulco and watch it anyway.
