Kyle Padron - Way to stay cool under pressure

Postby SMU 86 » Sat Nov 28, 2009 7:19 pm

When we wen down 21 to 20 in the 4th qtr I still had a certain calmness that Kyle would calmly direst the team to a comeback. And along with Shawnbrey's help they did jut that.

It has been great watching him develop over the last few games. He just has a calm confidence about him.

i've had a hard time adjusting. i believe in this team, but the past 2 decades has me skeptical. it's nice b/c i get rewarded all throughout the game.

go mustangs. go KP.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Today was my mothers first college football game. The first thing she said to me was that she liked the QB and asked me if the Cowboys could get him this year. I told her he is a freshman and she shook her head in skepticism. I believe he will get to compete in many bowls and Championship games in the future.

the main difference between kyle and BLM is that kyle does not THROW AWAY the games. He stays cool under pressure and continues the flow of the offense.

We only had 3 games all year that were more than 1 score finals. We need the guy in there who doesn't panic in the close games and Kyle is exactly that guy. Couldn't be happier with his performance this year

This kid will be a great one at SMU.

Definite possibility.

Padron does appear to have "it". He moves around in the pocket, sees the field well and has managed to avoid INTs. With improved arm strength and experience, he does have a chance to be a really good QB for us.

I like how when things break down he throws it away or makes a 1-yard run. There are probably "outlet" receivers he's not finding yet but for now but better the 1-yard run than the horrible turnover!
