Darn just when I thought it was out of my budget....For just today packages at Expedia to Hawaii are cheap. You can go for as low as $933 each (flight and hotel off the beach) for the 21st to the 24th red eye flight back....just sayin....

What time is red-eye? 12 minute drive from stadium to airport.

The red eye leaves at 11:30 PM and arrives DFW at 1:15 Pm on Christmas Day......I am working on my wife right now as we speak......c'mon dear...25 years of waiting....etc.

I actually work for Expedia and can attest that the packages are the best way to save $$. Hotel rates (especially chains) are most competitive for these types of destinations (Hawaii, Orlando, Vegas, Carribbean, etc.) when they can bundle the hotel with a flight. They assume package bookings will stay longer, spend more at the hotel, probably won't cancel and will book further in advance.

I was hoping for the 22nd-26th. Looks like most of those cheaper packages are from Los Angeles.
