TCU Fans Think (Know) They Are Getting Shafted

Postby Stallion » Sun Dec 06, 2009 7:35 pm

not sure anybody knows but there have been several reports and it appears to be the consensus that TCU will be sent to the small kids table to play Boise St in the Fiesta

Cry babies. They didn't have to be included at all.

I can see where they are coming from -- great season, conference championship, top 5 ranking, BCS lock. You want to measure yourself against the best. I think it would have been cool for them to play Florida or Georgia Tech. Boise St. doesn't excite me. They played them last year in San Diego and won in that Poinsettia Bowl.

I think they'll hammer Boise St. again -- IF THAT'S WHAT WE GET

So let's see .... today is the day we learn SMU's first bowl opponent in 25 years, and we're supposed to give a damn about TCU and its fans?

oh go start your own thread-if no one was interested they wouldn't reply. We got the selection show in 8 minutes-I think its pretty pertinent to any college football fan.

If I did not hate frogs, I would feel bad for them. They did everything they were supposed to do. They scheduled BCS opponents and beat them on the road. It is not their fault Virginia sucked this year. Clemson was a monumental win. If you go undefeated, and sweep your conference with a couple ranked teams, you should have at least a CHANCE to prove yourself as a NC in a playoff, period

The BCS conferences don't want to set up a situation where TCU and Boise State have the opportunity to both win against BCS schools. Thus, have them play each other. Yeah, it stinks, but so does the whole set-up.

I'm just looking forward to that trip to Hawaii.

I agree though. I think it is such bs! My favorite bowl games the last 3 years have been the non-bcs vs BCS games in a BCS bowl! My brother goes to TCU and was so excited about going to the Orange bowl with all of his friends to play GT but he said a lot of them are not even going now if they are playing Boise. I was maybe going to go with them but I agree. That sucks.

OUCH - that is a big slap in the face to TCU. I hate them, but I respect what they've done this year. They deserved a shot against a big time program

Oh isn't this a sweet BCS production show-everything is GREAT!!! Thank you BCS for allowing us small schools play each other. At least on ESPN they would have been someone questioning this. They are all in bed together
