This is typical BC$ B$. I honestly can't think of a matchup I would less like to see. Now the powers that be can still say the mid majors are great as afterthoughts, but they still can't play with the big boys...

TCU and Boise could beat both GT and Iowa! And I guess they didnt want to see that happen. And I am sure the SEC didnt want to get beat by a MWC team for the second year ina row in a BCS game. Florida vs Cincy? Who wants to see that?

Well, I guarantee you one thing. This will be the least watched of all the Bcs bowl games. The non-bcs team's game is every year. Of course, the non-bcs school is never playing anyone interesting, either. I imagine the thought process with two non-automatic qualifiers was to put them against eachother so there are not two low rated games. Of course, I think that is nonsense.

I would think that Boise vs Oklahoma and Utah vs Alabama would have had really high ratings. Higher than Cincy vs Vt anyway

I refuse to feel sorry for or have pity on a small private school that is going to the biggest bowl game in their program's modern history, regardless of their opponent. They need to concentrate on going and beating the crap out of Boise State, and then they'll have the luxury of complaining that they should have played a more worthy opponent. Cry me a frickin' river!

They deserve what they get. Patterson says he likes the BCS. Good for him and TCU. I do not think for a second, not one half second, JJ cares about the BCS. If SMU gets into the same situation TCU, JJ and every SMU fan should and will be yelling to play for #1.

Does Boise, Nevada jump ship to MW along with another team?
That sucks for them..would have liked to see how they matched up with Florida.
