According to a report I just saw on a local Hawaiian TV station, UCLA freshman OL Stan Hasiak - a massive lineman in whom SMU reportedly had some interest last year - is being sent home and not expected to return to the Bruins. The report cited "personal reasons," including run-ins with teammates.
I don't know what he has done, but I do know he's enormous (6-5, 318 on the UCLA site) and was very highly recruited. Think Coach Jones and his staff could work their magic with him?

I wonder what the personal issue really are. I guess the coaches could call UCLA since one of our former coaches (Coach Hundley) is there.

Good point about Hundley. Hadn't thought of that.
