On one hand the field is atrocious. But isn't it fun to watch a football game where uniforms actually get dirty?

I hate Penn State so much I'm watching Florida State — which is pulling a nice upset over West Virginia. Hope they hang on.

I bet Penn St. was tickled with the field condition taking away the team speed advantage LSU has. I mean its a mud bowl

We're partying with JoePa and could care less about the field conditions. Since LSU had the better athletes, Tigers should have won.
As for the personal foul on LSU at the end, if that bonehead doesn't throw that PSU player off the pile, betcha they would have flagged the Nittany Lions for delay.
Oh well, typical of LSU and it's ridiculous clock mgmt -- again.

The SEC haters don't really have a good foot to stand on.
The 2nd ACC team beats the 8th SEC team and the 3rd ACC team beats the 7th SEC team.
So what.
That's no better or different than the SEC's 5th team beating a&m, the Big12 7th/8th.
Penn St. beating LSU was good for the Big 10. Sloppy game, could have gone either way, controversial flag at the end, whatever.
I don't even give the SEC the edge with Florida boat racing Cincy. Texas or OU might have done the same.
The Ole Miss / OSU should be a good match as will bama and the horns.
Regardless of the outcome of the rest of the games, the SEC is the strongest and best conference.
Maybe not a huge difference from other conferences, but it is noticeable.
