Stay Classy, Tech

Postby SmooBoy » Fri Jan 01, 2010 12:56 pm

After reading a multitude of comments from dimwitted tech posters in the DMN and various message boards, I am more convinced than ever that the best thing to ever come out of Lubbock is Hwy 84, leading back to I-20.

A+
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

It warms my heart to see them so worked up and loud. They are noisier than two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a hail storm.

Compare Tech to UT or A&M

Postby Sam I Am » Sat Jan 02, 2010 12:43 am

Imagine how UT or A&M would have handled the Leach situation and you realize they would never have hired him, much less allow him to remain employed wih his behavior. The Texas Exes and Aggie Former Students can get riled up too, but with more class. Hopefully SMU would too.
