We had mental breakdowns that should not have happened. Off the top of my head, the double dribble, two or three cradle calls. Don't get me wrong, we played lockdown defense and were red-hot from 3, but if we are going to build a consistent winner we have to eliminate the mental mistakes.

If we beat Memphis we have a chance of going on an extended 6-7 game winning streak!!! How nice would that be? Very unlikely, but the 3 game streak has let me dream!!!

Yes, it was ugly as times, but I thought for the most part we played outstanding, especially on the defensive end. Rompza, their tiny PG, has one of the best ASST/TO ratios in the nation, and we completely shut down his dribble-drive, which made their offense stagnant.

I am just beginning to realize how good Rob is, and hopefully this is only the tip of the iceberg.

This win gives us tremendous confidence for Saturday, and Moody will most definitely be rocking!

I might argue that beating Rice in Houston was bigger, given our struggles in Houston in recent years.

Memphis 75 Marshall 72 F -Herd trailed 73-72 and missed two free throws with 9 secs to play.

Williams with 10 assists vs only 2 turnovers...that's what we need to see a lot more of coming down the stretch this season. Of course, it helps when Nyakundi and others are knocking down the treys

When's the last time we had a player with double digit assists? That's outstanding.

Great win, I love our D, I know a lot of us were critical about always playing zone but the guys have seemed to have figured it out and we have gotten really good at it. I don't have the stats in front of me, but we have to be close to the top of the league in Defense, we held UTEP to 49 points in their gym and then they went on the road and scored 91 right after.

Damn, wish we had not have blown that UAB game, we would be sitting one game out of the conference lead. Oh well, the real test comes Saturday against Memphis, lets beat those guys!

good job guys! Good defense - they seemed to miss all their 3's and we hit ours for once.

DW played well as usual - everyone got involved a little bit. Let's hope Nyk can keep it up! This is about the 1st time that I hear what Doh was saying about him - probably his best as a Mustang.
