Ross enjoys life in Dallas

It's not the Southeastern Conference, and his team isn't ranked in any national polls, nor considered a contender for the BCS championship, but none of that takes away from the sheer delight of his latest job.

I'm writing about Randy Ross who is director of football operations at Southern Methodist University in Dallas under head coach June Jones. Ross is, basically, his right hand man and says he's loving every minute of it.

“He is the most unique head coach that I have worked for during my 23 years in college football,” Ross said of Jones.
