Cornnerback Keith Robinson, who will be a junior in the fall, observed practice again Thursday from the sideline.
Robinson is sidelined by what he called "a lower abdominal strain," but he said he doesn't think it's too serious. He said he had a cortisone shot last week.
The Ponies have Friday off and no practice over the weekend. Robinson said he hopes to be back on the practice field sometime next week.

He may still be sick to his stomach from that 4th and 33 TD thrown on him by Tulsa 2 years ago. Hope he recovers soon.

As an avid fan, I will never forget that play. If Robinson is going to be a good corner, he has long forgotten it.

Hopefully he doesn't read this board to help you remind him Mr Negative. That is the life of a db.

If an athlete is affected reading a message board then he needs to quit and spend his time preparing for a hard life ahead.

i hate to say this, but the hiring of delaura will come back to haunt SMU... while he was at Hawaii we always had liek 1/4 of the team on the sidelines because of injuries... and since he's been gone, i dont recall any at all... his methods are out of date, and dont apply to football... hes a one trick pony, sorry for the pony reference, but the guy is only there because JJ is loyal... and perhaps to a fault...

i mentioned it before but mostly everyone shooed my comment away saying JJ knows who the best coaches are for his squad... well sure he may know who they are, but doesnt mean he'll go after em... Delaura is a long time friend of JJ and JJ is a loyal guy, sometimes to a fault... when vic left i knew what that meant, and i was happy to see him leave my program, but sad to see him come to SMU... but it was inevitable....
sure injuries are a part of football and they should be expected... whoever the strength and conditioning guy is should have a very thorough understanding of what needs to be done, but apparently delaura doesnt know much... its not so bad the players got injured its that they stayed injured for the entire season, and often got reinjured when everyone thought they were well, or got reinjured, and even after rehabbing it during hte off season they'd come back and reinjure it under delauras guidance..
