no brainer for Fab...I've got to believe he will be more at home in Houston than in Highland Park

And I think they are the same size...not that it matters...

Fab had a Depaul offer, and an unverified Cincy offer. I think it's clear he was the higher rated prospect. Just gotta hope JS can play and spreads the ball around. Need some other kids to step up, now that they are upperclassmen. See Haynes & Nyakundi. We need consistent double digit games form those guys.

For the positive, heard Smith is very very close now, so that's huge. Smith, Pigtails, Vilde, and Pats will be here summer session 2.

Have all four made it through the NCAA clearing house? I thought Vilde was the one being held up? Is that correct?

Not at all. Several are in there as we speak. The Euro's have some amateurism issues, though they are expected to make it. Pats is ok grade-wise, but Vilde is a borderline qualifier. Smith is very close, but clearinghouse has to make sense of his transcripts from the British Virgin Islands etc. Good class that will go down to the wire. I'm pretty hopeful, though

When Fabyon Harris was offered I looked him up and started reading peoples rants and paying a little more attention,,,,and I can say I am happy, as a SMU fan, things worked out the way they did. I want to win but I want to win the right way with good people. I do not know exactly what all there is to know about Fabyon Harris--but where there is smoke there is usually fire. IMO. Wish Fab's well and wish Jermemiah even better. He is on your team now.

This is the attitude that keeps players from the hilltop...I don't disagree in all cases, but sometimes you have the opportunity to help your team and a kids life..ask June about this....

I am from chicago, and know the environment this kid came through...I think a change of scene would have done him a world of good...

If you want into SMU, don't have pics of yourself posing w/guns all over your facebook page. They were up for a day or two before they were pulled, and if you don't think the powers that be were watching, especially after the kids brother died, you'd be off base. People were scrambling to get them yanked, I know this as fact. They also had to talk Fab & his crew off a ledge after the shooting b/c everyone had retaliation on their mind. I'm the first to understand that world and environment, but this was a mess late. Especially, when he's still not qualified by SMU standards.

Love me some Fab, and have no problem taking hard luck cases from bad environments, but the kid isn't all-world, just a 3 star kid that shoots a ton. Same can be said of Loyd and that recruitment. That kid's stock rose so much, not b/c all of the sudden everyone thought he was great, but due to waiting. Eventually, a 5'7 ish PG had enough clout to possibly package himself and his brother to a PAC-10 schoool, Nike's charter no less. These processes get wild and unpredictable, espcially w/everyone grabbing at straws late.

Honestly, short of Loyd or Allen, none of these kids were guaranteed 3 or 4 year starters. After missing on Loyd/Allen I'm pretty sure the staff made an '11 PG a main priority again.

Once again.....just wait until this BBall season to get amped up. Its a make it or break it year for the program and everyone knows it is. The pressure is on and Doh will be tweaking and tweaking to make his new concoction work. If it doesn't work, its all over for him...and his staff unfortunatly.
