Other than that it's cool, why do we need indoor practice?

Doesn't June run practices in the am anyway with weights and film in the afternoon? Can someone explain the game day dividend of running your practices in the AC?

Could we make up for that with "hostesses"? I feel that's a pretty significant recruiting edge.

An indoor practice facility can be used for other athletic teams and it is necessary to ensure you can have quality practices when the weather is bad - if your goal is to play in December bowl games you need a place to practice when it is snowing, raining, or when the temperatures are freezing - the fact a facility has not been built yet is pathetic - Top 25 Orsini? Well, the top 25 teams have indoor practice facilities

Maybe with lightening but come on...we're in freaking Texas. How many days is it really snowing or below freezing when we're practicing? And honestly if the thought is we might be playing in cold bowl games I don't see how it prepares you to practice inside. There are also plenty of teams in the Top 25 from last year that don't have them.

All the good teams have them. Not having it is a black eye for recruiting.

To me its about effective practice. Being used to the elements is great, but weather can be a huge distraction. I would rather my guys be able to fine tune their game indoors than learn wet balls are slippery (twss).

1) You have a limited number of practices according to NCAA regulations. Do you really want to miss a few practices during a week in the fall that could be the deciding factor in whether you are bowl eligible or about to qualify for a BCS bowl with a $13,000,000 payout? 2) It would be nice to keep up with some of the local high school programs, especially the 3A ones. 3)The Super Bowl teams need indoor facilities for there workouts. TCU is the host for one with the Sam Baugh facility. Why not SMU for the other team. $$$$$ 4)On a rainy or icy game day, what happens to the tailgating on the BLVD? Let's move it indoors. 5) Maybe the local high schools who don't have indoor facilities and could use the SMU facility. A legal recruiting tool! Once on campus they can see the beauty and all it has to offer as far as location. 6) All the sports and the band could use it.

Cuz recruits are 17 and don't know any better

also, practice indoors is more productive than sweating and Mentally dibilitating bc of dehydrated outdoors.

Money already is being raised for an indoor facility.
