Can that be explained in small (non-technical) words?

So back to Thornton: if he's really 6'6" then to hell with hoops -- can you imagine a WR who would make Bobby Chase (6'4"), Reynaldo Pellerin (6'3") and Tony Hawkins (6'2") look short? Coach Burns has got to be pushing for this to somehow work out.

meanwhile; who was the last 2 sport guy (football & bball) at SMU who actually made an impact in both sports? Oscar Roan??? I sure don't remember many.
