Good deal-starting to put together a strong defensive nucleus-especially at DE and LB. Can't hurt to claim a Texas Top 50(or so) and California Top 20. Hopefully will give confidence to others to jump on board. Surprising tidbit-9 of 13 commitments are defensive players.

This kid was ranked #17 Nationally as a DE or OLB?...when did we get someone that highly ranked?..in recent memory?

Marcus Moseley is the highest rated since the DP. He was about No. 8 in Texas-but apparently wasn't informed that he was expected to attend class. Vincent Chase was highly rated at his TE position from a national perspective by at least one service

Early on, it' nice to get the commits from so many DL. We really are getting stronger in the recruiting nationally and it looks solid for the Ponys to make a great impact this year with the 2011 class. Particularly with another good season this fall.

It is SO nice to have some positive football news.
