yeah, I sorta remember his departing quote along the lines of "if football doesn't work out, at least I know I'll be happy there" -- said of his destination school.

I watched him practice about 12 times . His frame size reminded me of Brandon Marshal

I picked him as my new favorite player last year . But it did not take long watching him to see this was not going to work out.

yeah, I remember all the excitement after he was recruited, followed by free-falling through the depth chart. by the time the change to defense came, it wasn't too surprising.
i hope he found a place where he can get his education and still play a little ball.

Looked to be another one of those guys with "great physical tools" as far as size and speed that coaches take a chance on. Some work out, some don't. Hope he puts it all together wherever he goes. On another note I think I saw on a future draft list last year that he was one of the top 100 receivers as far as projeections go for when he would graduate. This evaluation made without ever playing a down! I think it was ESPN's list. Not very many wr's from that class left after two years...BJ Lee, Wittington, Drewery gone. Sure is a high turnover ratio at these D1 programs. Is there a site that measures which schools sign and keep their recruits for the full four or five years?
