The first step is to believe it is possible.

That is complete BS....for them to show us as a loss to WSU shows they didn't do their homework.

A projection of 5-7 for 2010 sounds about right.

A record of 6-6 is possible if the cards fall right.

14-0 sounds about right to me. Anyone else have an uninformed opinion they'd like to throw in?

Just curious Corp. How are those ticket sales going for the big game against OSU? I already heard they are not even trying to sell the upper portion of Jerry World and will be pulling the curtain on it so it won't look so bad on national TV. 35,000 maybe?
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Smack talk about private school attendance is very weak. I'm more concerned about SMU barely getting 20,000 on the day we clinch our first bowl in 20 years. TCU's attendance when you consider all factors is outstanding and compares favorably to SMU ticket sales during our Pony Express Days when you take away freebies and state school visitors attendance.

I can talk smack all I want on my board. Let the troll go over to his. They are sweating bullets about the ticket sales for the big game. Apparently less than 10,000 sold so far.

yea comparing smu football attendance when they've been awful for 20 years to tcu attendance when they've been great for 10 years makes a LOT of sense. most people aren't going to go from complete apathy to really enthusiastic in 1 year. irrelevant.

We also gift wrapped the Navy game last year. Both Navy and WSU are winnable. If we don't have a monsoon again at Navy, we can win that game. The two games that worry me outside of TT, TCU and UH or Tulsa and of all teams, Rice. Rice finds ways to beat us in Houston.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Agreed.
I'm hoping that 2 monsoons in three years on gameday isn't likely.

Let's be realistic; you could "trade places" and pit a top 10 SMU team against a west coast program that will travel very few for this game and it would be (especially at the prices I've heard) a sparsely attended game. We small private schools just don't have the same following as the large publics do...and likely never will
