Portland State, Lamar & UC Riverside. Ranks right up there with the tourney a couple of years ago featuring Illinois State, Alabama A&M, & SFA. I'm sure the ticket line will be a long one for this event. Get your tickets early! On a positive, 3 games in 3 days is always a good thing if u enjoy hoops.

If we don't get three wins out of this group, it will be a shame. Make no mistake, this is a much weaker field than the one with Ill. State in it was.

None of those teams can handle the pigtailed frog
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

As a UCR alum, I'm glad to see they are participating. On 11/20 I can watch the SMU-MU football game at Ford and then stroll over to Moody to see UCR play. Considering I'll see UCR play @ UNLV on 11/12, attending at least two of their games in less than 10 days is a nice present for this alum.
Does Lamar travel well?

Anyone else camping out to secure tickets for this? I've got to call that guy who camped out a whole week at the Knox Apple Store for tips.

"I'm excited about where the program is," Doherty said. "We played a very difficult nonconference schedule." Looks like we scheduled another murderers row of big-time opponents!! What, Huston-Tillotson wasn't available?!? Or were we afraid to schedule them after eking out that 4-point win last season??
