somehow I knew if I didn't find a local sports bar that could pick up tonight's Cox Cable broadcast, the Ponies would pull this one off. Congrats, indeed. Keep up the effort guys. Let's see what they can do to give Kris Lowe a memorable senior night. Will Voc Atkins also be honored?

Lowe had to deal with Dement all these years, he needs to be commended for that.

The roster I got at the game tonight showed Atkins is a junior, but I thought he signed with Lowe. Maybe he had a redshirt year? Or perhaps this was a Tulsa typo?

he's a junior, eligibility wise, but I assume is set to graduate this spring and I'm assuming because we have 3 new guys coming in next year that Voc is going to be moving on? Can anyone confirm?

I think Voc is getting his masters so who knows what he'll do.

I've heard that Voc is graduating and will not use his 4th year of eligibility. Best wishes to him! :D

I believe Voc graduated in Dec. and will be going to grad school next year. He won't be back.

John Forinash and his dad, Bob, were at the UTEP game last week. Bob said that he wanted to show support for the team after the firing of Dement, who was not a favorite of theirs. Bob thinks that Tubbs would be a great coach for SMU and hopes that he is the "chosen one" for the head coaching job. They really like Tubbs!

There are a couple of returning fans, another 1000 or so to go and we will start to have some support building again. A guy as controlling and paranoid as Dement can have a very negative effect on a program. With the renewed energy this team is showing, fans will wonder why it took so long for the administration to take action. Too bad it didn't happen after the 1st Rice game when it was apparent to all that the team was in the dumper. Stangs by 3.
