nice to at least have a backup QB who has taken a few snaps at the Division I level. Hope to see some blowouts this year so he can get on the field

Question: Why would a player get papers and be listed on the travel team and not be on this list?

The two deep only lists 46 players... more than that travel. At minimum, additional players will be brought along for special teams.

And, of course, as was said before, this two deep doesn't completely match what we have been lead to believe...

It'll be interesting to see how much (if any) Fields and/or Pope get to play at RB.
Back off Warchild seriously.

I have to imagine, they will get to see some time on the field. We are going to have to run a little bit, and I can't see Line doing major work outside of pounding it in around the goal line. I think Fields/Pope or Butler will be a change of pace, and will further open up the passing game against an inexperienced secondary.

On any other team they'd certainly be pegged to get a few carries on first and second downs; the traditional rushing downs. But as we know, there are no rushing downs with June. So until they get more comfortable with their blocking, it's hard to say when they'd put them in. The last thing you want is to telegraph your running plays based on personnel. So you almost have to put them in on passing plays for a while to keep the defense from keying on the run when they come in. I think it might be week 2 before we really see either of them sniff the field.
