Lost the Hawaii Bowl recording - but I had burned it to DVD. So not all is lost.
How did you burn it to a DVD?

I cant hook my DVD recorder to my u verse DVR or I just dont know how. I also have the Hawaii bowl recorded and I would like to put it on a DVD.
I have a composite cable going from the audio left and right and video out on the DVR to the inputs on the back of the DVD recorder.
Then switch your DVD recorder to whichever input you connected the composite cable to (L1 in my case). Hit play on the DVR and hit record on the DVD recorder.

If you are already using those outputs on your DVR to connect to the TV or something else, you can use Y-splitters to plug two components into the DVR. You'll need 3 of them: 1 for audio left, 1 for audio right, and 1 for video.
