Black Jerseys?

All the players and staff received a black camp-style shirt with Mustang logo as their Hawaii Bowl present...June wore it during the game. I would love it if they sold those at BN.

My guess is we see the black jerseys this year, possibly TCU on ESPN friday night.

Close, but it was silk, like a Tommy Bahama. The maker escapes me now, but I remember it was a very high quality and well regarded brand from Hawaii.

I went by the bookstore this afternoon looking for a jersey for my son (a real lookng one, not the ridiculously fake ones). Well, still nothing in blue, red, or white, but the do have the "real" replica version in BLACK..but only in kids sizes.

I know JJ is fond of the black jerseys, but I was surprised to see it. Anyone know if we are really looking to add a black jersey? I have seen postings about it on here but thought it was just rumor.

Ironically, design wise this is closer than the other jersys they have sold, given that there is a Mustang below the neck.

That was my thought as well - they had plenty of adult sizes (mens and women's), but the only thing even close to the real jersey in the kids sizes was this black one.

Yeah, the shirt I was thinking of wasn't his bowl game shirt, after looking at the pic of him holding the trophy post-game.

But all the players wore theirs to the banquet and I still want one.

Actually, I made them with the uniform creator on the on the website for the NCAA '10 game. I have no inside info on uniforms, black or otherwise.

I think everyone here realizes we will see SMU in a black jersey at some point.
Personally, I think it's dumb, but it's going to happen sooner or later for some big game.
That black jersey at the bookstore is a very recent addition. I was in there not even two weeks ago, and it was not there.
