I know how the bookstore operates. There is absolutely zero input from athletics as to what they carry. Basically, a vendor comes by with a rack of cheap overpriced crap and the manager picks what she thinks looks good. Don't read into them carrying a black jersey.

What's absurd is that SMU has no replica jerseys for sale. It's a small school so they probably wouldn't sell like hot cakes but on www.shopncaasports.com, schools like Marshall, San Diego St, UCF and Memphis all have replica jerseys for sale! Cool website to check out for the major teams. Nike makes these "t-shirt jerseys" for the major teams sponsored by Nike (most of them anyway). pretty neat. not of a ton of SMU gear there but it's been better since last year.

Exactly. I have been looking for a youth replica jersey for 3 years now....still no dice. The school should be embarrassed, especially considering that UT opened a Co-op not even 3 miles from campus selling tons of Longhorns crap. SMU needs to get with the program when it comes to merchandising.
