SMU front 7 played about as well as you could expect against Texas Tech especially considering the heat and lack of depth. . In case you didn't notice he wasn't exactly a polished pass rusher last year although he did start to make strides in the 2nd half of last year. Yes I do realize he made a huge sack in the Rice game after the QB sat in a rocking chair for about 10 seconds. Its his upside potential that is impressive-but he's still learning his position and pass rush technique

Look at the entire front 7 as a whole. They performed very well. This was a very good offensive line they went up against.
