Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.Gary Patterson was being interviewed this morning on the Ticket and one of the questions was phrased like this..."SMU has obviously improved and June Jones seems to have revived that program. You have a match-up with them in a couple of weeks in what will be a big game for both schools. What are your thoughts on SMU and the job June Jones has done with that program"?
GP: "I haven't really thought about it to be honest with you" He then immediately changed the subject. I always knew Gary Patterson didn't have any class, but he obviously has a huge hatred for the Ponies. Well Gary, we don't think much of you either, pal. Sept. 24th is coming and whether that's in your thought process or not, I promise you it's in ours. What a punk. Pony P-1
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket. How does that make him classless or show that he has a "huge hatred" for the Ponies? I wouldn't expect JJ to go on and on about another team either.
Lighten up.
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket. You really care what the coach of another team thinks?
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.I like it when people say "to be honest with you."
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.SMU is thinking about UAB now, not Washington State or TCU.

Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket. That's nothing to worry about, Glenn.
SMU should be fine. Wish JJ would stay longer. WL One. Fifty-Six. Ninety-nine!
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.I am sure any TCU fan would hope coach Patterson is more concerned with the next opponent than who is on the schedule three weeks down the road. I would expect JJ would say something along the same lines if asked about an opponent three weeks away.
GO MUSTANGS!
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.Dont really get where you see an lack of class there or any diss of SMU. Pretty thin skin there buddy.
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.I'm sure Patterson is practicing what he preaches. He tells his kids to play 'em one game at a time. Not to look past anyone and so forth. What kinda message does Patterson send to his kids if he starts spouting off about an opponent 3 weeks in the future?
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.Ehhh, what did you expect him to say...seriously?
Coach Patterson is a wonderful individual (a stand-up guy, mind you) and we're very fortunate to be able to work with him. Go Frogs! Pony Up!

![]() Whenever I hear this I question their honesty even more. Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.
Agreed, as that game is two weeks down the road and TCU shouldnt even think about SMU until that week. Nor should we, until that week......now mind you, we are all VERY aware of Purple Froggies coming into our turf soon on National ESPN TV and we will be prepared.....we will fry some froggies on that darn Iron Skillet that we will bring home to where it rightly belongs...LOL
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket. The two teams are going after the same recruits. Why would he want to give positive comments about SMU or give them additional airtime?
Re: Patterson has nothing to say about SMU on the Ticket.
Here's what Gary Patterson was really thinking: " OMG! OMG! SMU! I can't stop thinking about SMU! We've got two games between now and then, but I still can't stop thinking about them.
