2010 Special Teams

Postby TheNewKid23 » Sun Aug 08, 2010 10:19 am

The special teams should be tops in the country this year. Returning pretty much everyone except for the returners. Won us a few games last year but should be even stronger this year!!!

I'm thinking D3 will take over PR duties but not sure who will return kicks. Any idea who's going to be KR yet?

Over/Under 7 blocked kicks this year?

I'll take the over.

No idea on KR's, but I'd expect Butler to see some time back there. Maybe Acker as well?

Those return guys are huge — filling those roles will be huge. Got to see who's in those roles before speculating how good the special teams can be.

return guys are the easy ones to replace. the other 10 guys blocking are prob. most important. They know the technique and the schemes already. Whoever fills in should have space to run....

I expect better results on coverage with more depth and speed.
