DALLAS (SMU) - FoxSports Southwest and CBS College Sports will showcase the SMU Mustang football program in a series of half-hour shows beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7. The show, titled "SMU Football 2010: The Climb", will feature SMU head Coach June Jones, but will also provide insight into the inner workings of a college football program, by giving viewers a first-time look at practices, team meetings and campus facilities. Agreements with both FoxSports Southwest and CBS College Sports allow the show to have both a regional and national footprint. Shot in HD, the show will debut on Sept. 7 on FoxSports Southwest following the Texas Rangers game around 11 p.m. CT. CBS-C is scheduled to air the show starting on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 8 p.m. CT. CBS-C also has the show slated for two more primetime replays during the week and an additional eight re-airs in other time slots. After this week's series premiere, FSSW air the weekly show on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and will also re-air the show throughout the week. Fans should check their local listings for all showtimes. Through cable companies and satellite providers, CBS College Sports Network is available to nearly 9 out of 10 multichannel video households, and approximately 32 million subscribe to the channel. Major providers include Cablevision, Charter Communications, Comcast Cable, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Insight Communications, Mediacom, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon FIOS. Fox Sports Southwest, a regional sports network that reaches all or parts of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas, reaches 8.6 million households in its footprint. It is the cable home for the Dallas Mavericks (NBA), Dallas Stars (NHL), Texas Rangers (MLB), FC Dallas (MLS), San Antonio Spurs (NBA). --smu--
