I was sitting directly behind them. The Tech dad was a nice man[/quote]

That kid was REALLY trying to start something. I am surprised nothing came of it. His mom kept telling him to cut it out.

It was hot. I bailed to the AC at the Overton bar in the second qt. I was the only SMU fan in there until about the half. Wilted people started showing up wanting to chug water.

Had a great time in there.

We talked about that a few years back. I'd love to be able to recognize some of the posters here.

I hate when fans chant/boo doing school songs... ours or theirs. Poor sportsmanship

Had no problems whatsoever. I actually was at a big Tech tailgate party in one of the remote lots across campus with a good friend of mine who's a Sand Aggie. The Mrs. and I were all decked out in Mustang attire and everyone was as friendly as could be. Had a great time.

I hate it when our students (it's mostly students) do that. I think it shows poor sportsmanship. I wish it would stop, although I'm not sure how they'd stop it.

By the way, the SMU band was great too...very entertaining. Was that a spirit band or was that all of them? (not sure how many are in your band when at full strength)

No problems for the most part at all. Everyone after the game was very complimenting. One guy even said that he would be happier to be a SMU fan than a Tech fan after that game.

On a side note: that stadium was very quiet the entire game...kind of pathetic

Can't wait to get back to the blvd...watching cars get towed out of a Starbucks lot isn't quite as fun.

Glad to have you... and good to catch up since Hawaii.

We talked about several times how 50k+ could be so quiet.... the whole game. Not just in the 4th when they got nervous.
