We got your back Kyle so just forget about TT and keep doing what you have already proven you can do. You are a winner. PONY UP.

Agreed-----Why respond to it though Ponybacker? it was way down the list and there is another thread that adresses his toughness....lets just stay off this stupid thread and let it die....(I only responded because you just hit it)

Look. If we deleted every stupid thread we would cause such a vacuum that a black hole would occur. Any intelligent human reading the thread can readily see the ignorance of the original post and can see that we support our QB and admire his toughness. Why in the world would you want to delete a thread that supports our player.

RHS wrote:I am a Red Raider and was at the game and anyone who is questioning Padron's toughness is wrong. He took hits and played hurt a lot Sunday. He came off to get a play from June in the 2nd qtr and looked like he was favoring his throwing shoulder. He took a lickin and kept on tickin. If he could have been on the field at the end, he would have been on the field at the end.

I am curious to know though, how many of those here questioning Padron's toughness were actually at the game yesterday?

I was there, and the answer is, not very many at all. Pony Up!

Wow Nick, I guess we all had forgotten about that, can't believe he didn't remind us?

He is not simply a BM supporter, but the brother of BM. 2thagloomy is one of the many screen names he employed in promoting his agenda. This is a sad example of how ungrateful the family of BM is to the school, fans, and coach that gave BM every opportunity to succeed.

Your brother is the worst quarterback in SMU history. It is unfortunate that you taint his reputation further by continuing your tradition of classless behavior.

No relation and this is my only screen name. I named it because most of you on here are just so negative and "gloomy". I just find it comical how many of you get very upset when someone questions Padron, yet, just as you have done here, call out BLM. He was raked over the coals and called all kinds of names. You don't think recruits were reading. I don't think Padron or McDermott are good quarterbacks. Time will tell.
You know what else if funny? EWU will have more fans in the stadium for home games than SMU. There were like 12 of you at the Tech game. Way to travel and support the team.

We raked BLM over the coals because he was not a good quarterback. Seems pretty simple to me.

So you are not a relative of BM, you are simply an individual that only posts on this board in support of him? I say this because you are obviously not an SMU fan, given that all of your posts praise BM and you now ridicule SMU. Padron failed to have an excellent game, but has produced spectacularly in the past. Do you forget the number of opportunities BM was given to succeed? I have not. BM never earned the respect that you claim he deserved. His numbers make it clear that he rightfully earned all of the criticism he received.

The mere fact that you demonstrate such unconditional loyalty to such a horrible quarterback is proof alone that you are his brother. Normal people do not display your level of fanaticism for one so adept at losing unless they share bed or blood. This is supported in that you have even spoken of him in the past as though you know him personally.

He was proud to be a Mustang. Very proud. The situation changed for him and opened other doors which will allow him to do some things he has wanted to do for a very long time. He admits Padron is the guy now and supports the coaches in their decision. There are a lot of factors that went into his decision. I support him 100% and wish him all the best. As I stated when we first got him: "He is a good QB, but a great kid".

I know I have opened myself up to a few of you about the "good QB" part. Save it. It's all the same folks.

I'm still BoLevi'n!

You are here for no other reason than to try and change history, but it will never work. You reveal yourself as a sad, bitter man. You hurl insults upon Padron after a single game, while you supported BM throughout all of his miserable performances. Oh yes, you are his brother. I find it laughable that you consider yourself clever enough to disguise your lust for BM.

BM was the MVP of the opposing team more often than Padron has even started. Padron is clearly more capable.

BM had good fundamentals, but clearly lacked the goods upstairs to run JJ's offense. Now that he's playing kiddieball in a lower division he may do very well.

Alright I can't believe I am on this darn thread again but BM was really not a fit for this syetem and was a reach for JJ quite frankly and didn't have enough of a throwing system in Katy, TX to keep up with this system. Nothing against him and wish him the best and hope he is super successful at Eastern Washington... I am glad he found a home. No hard feelings but lets not let us get down to lthese ower levels, as BLM was put in a difficult situation and it just didn't happen for him.

Good luck to BLM.

Now can we put this to rest?......LOL

Padron is the MAN! 12th start as a qb including varsity at SLC against a good Big 12 team. He will make a lot of plays for us this year. I assume the negative comment is from someone who has never stepped on a football field except with the band or as part of the cheer squad. By the way...McDermott is a player too!

I question the two of you in a cage match. I bet he would not even hit you, just flinch, your glasses would fall off, and he would hand you a box of tissues.
