While I appreciate the efforts to attract new fans to the game, how many first responders/veterans should we expect, and how else are we advertising this so they even know?

We could all call 911 and when they arrive, hand them a printed copy of the press release.*

It would be real easy to find the heads of various departments in the surrounding cities to email them a nice invite for them to email to their respective team.

Include info on event, boulevard/tailgating, and directions.

Hopefully, this has been done.

It would be great to see a few hundred vets out there, but I have a feeling they have no way of finding out about this.
