Re: Beasley Quick Screen Playagreed - when padron sets up nobody throws with more accuracy - sat he was rushed (or thought he was rushed) and it was coming out off the mark. He had time but for some reason was rushing the throw before his feet were good. I us hacks noticed it for sure morrison is all over it - and I bet we see some nice timing sat.
Re: Beasley Quick Screen Playcouple easy reasons why:
1. Padron was rattled so JJ wanted to calm him down by making completing some easy passes 2. Because the defense was dropping into zone (with a soft coverage) therefore these plays were used to exploit the cushion, and make the defense adjust (resulting in more opportunity to go deep (twss)) WEST DIVISION CHAMPS 2010

Re: Beasley Quick Screen PlayFor a coach who is known as an innovator and "the run and shoot" we haven't shown much as far as a short passing game since he got here. ES was dependable but even he was hampered in games against good defenses like TCU. AR has been a threat deep. I thought these short passes were supposed to be automatic in the "run and shoot". Maybe it is early jitters like we had last year against SFA with all the drops. Still, we are so improved in so many areas and have so many good coaches on the staff.
Re: Beasley Quick Screen Playstill need to improve athletically to annually become the Top 5 Offensive Passing Attack this Offense is capable. Check out the receivers Houston can throw at ya. We need more kids that can take a 5 yard pass and turn it into an 80 yard TD.
