Froggies Talk SMU/TCU Ticket Sales

Postby Stallion » Thu Sep 09, 2010 2:49 pm

TCU has already gone through its alottment to the SMU Game several weeks early so they are hitting other sources pretty hard. If you intend to go I wouldn't wait because Friday Nite or not TCU fans will show up for this one. 46,000 in Arlington last week paying outrageous prices for a game on National TV

Should be close to a sellout, if not one, with a gag-causing sea of purple.

you have tickets right?

The SMU/TCU Game will sellout this year-it would be nice if the National TV announcers weren't talking about TCU having more fans in the stands than SMU

They "get it". We don't. We'll have a sea of fraternity/sorority shirts. Pony Up!

Nice one - a little over someone's head, though.

Cameras set up on the west side shooting the east stands which will be mainly purple. Hopefully they will focus in on the student section for the first half.

Never have understood that. Why aren't there cameras perched on the East side?

since it is parents weekend.....I wonder when they try and get the parents to buy their tickets. Hopefully they have already made their push to sell them to momma and poppa pony.

Cameras are on same side as press box so that viewer has same view as commentators to avoid confusion.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

But it sucks when the section 104ers cannot see because of a big camera and a big cameraman on a big moving cart that block everything between the 40s.
