Did I hear that right? Did Morstead just uncork a 59-yard punt?

And the returner muffed it. They never factor in the heat build up on re-entry.

We love us some Morstead here in NOLA. Field position was the difference in last night's win over the Vikings, due in no small part to TM. High hang times, touchbacks, etc. kept them pinned deep.

Yeah, well Matt Szymanski kicked a ball 2 yards farther and through a space 10 feet off the ground and and 18.5 feet wide.

I still can't believe it.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

well a 59 yard punt is from the line of scrimmage...and a 61 yard field goal is 54 yards from scrimmage. advantage morstead...for now.

Why was he not kicking field goals?

I read a few quotes Matt said when interviewed after the game, he had nothing but wonderful things to say about TM. Good things happen to good people seems to apply to these 2 young men.

I was talking to my Aggie buddy and he couldn't believe that Matt was with us and that he hit that field goal. When at TAMU he couldn't hit a barn door..... I just had to smile and say that is the difference in great coaching and special teams.....
