UAB's run game and our weak passing game probably has some betters spooked. SMU has a reputation for inconsistency over the last 2 decades. It will take consistent wins and time to change that attitude.

I think 11 is probably about right but, if we execute we beat that line.

Agreed. If our defense's performance against the supposedly good Tech runners is any indication, we should be in good shape. Tech's running game and offensive line were predicted to have a big impact on the game and didn't. Our strength, at this point at least, is our dline and linebackers, and our weakness seems to be our secondary, so one would have to believe this game sets up well for us defensively.

That being said, we usually spit the bit when we are favored and especially when we are favored by a lot, e.g. WSU last year.

Whoops my bad, but my point is I don't think it matters at all who the oppent is. At the very least i think TCU calls of the dogs ups by 40.
