So what level do you need to be at for the AWAY tailgates? I'm just at the basic and honestly live off the fam's largesse when I make it in for games. Thinking to take the next step but I make more road than home games.

I would call (214-SMU-CLUB) and make sure they have you on the 2010-2011 list. They will just check your name at the entrance to the tent. Once last year I forgot my card and my name wasn't on the list for some reason. Thank goodness I hadn't been drinking bourbon that day or someone would have heard it!

So I guess that means you can sit at 33, ring a bell, and they will bring you drinks over from the MC Tent?

MC Tent is the best deal. Flash your card for free food and endless cold drinks which you can bring with you to walk around blvd.

Me Likey!!!! Bring the dancing girls!!!!...

I'm really looking forward to this year.

They usually send out an email the week or so beforehand with the 'official' tailgate info. these are open to any MC members and guests. Though, if it is anything like last week's, I wouldn't even bother. They literally took the beer away before 1:30 (kickoff at 2:30), plus, it was in the hotel ballroom.

I really appreciate the work that the ladies of the MC do, but if it's not going to be done as a proper tailgate (blvd style, or at least outdoors), then let's just forget about it. But maybe it's just me.

I don't do Ballrooms for tailgates. I don't fit in anywhere .

Houston Tailgate was good last year. Tulsa was in a good spot too.

BTW when did I turn into a Pony Fans Hall of Famer?
