Seems like UH is going to rush for over 400 yards tonite. That's not particularly good for UTEP

Can our defense stop them is the question.

This game is cutting into my Texas High School Football highlites time. Wow Aledo beat Lake Travis in 4A ending their 48 game winning streak. Jonathan Grey is going to be a stud. (QB Michael Brewer didn't play for Lake Travis)

UTEP is not good. No running game, passing game is ok. I am not that impressed with Vitatoe. UTEP defense is awful. Coogs have a very good offense, what a shocker. Their defense though does not look that much bettor than last year. As bad as UTEP offense is, they can still move the ball on the UH defense. I like SMU's chances against UH this year.

I'm not sure UH's defense is better than last year. UTEP's offense will be much stronger with Buchram. I'm thinking SMU should develop into the best defense in CUSA West but that's not saying much

I must have missed it, but what's the scoop on Buckram?

Shockers thoughts on the Coogs.

We're much better talent wise defensively than last year. We shut down UTEP regardless of Buchkingham was there or not. He wouldn't have made a difference.

Offensively. We're much more spread out than last year. I was NOT a fan of Holgerson. It was the same f'n plays over and over. Sure we scored like NINJAS but there was no balance.

This year we have a much better OL with depth (just like we have a much better DL). We will run the ball at will. Opening up bigger plays on the passing end.

THAT BEING SAID. You guys always play us like f'n SuperBowl contenders in our matchup. I do not like our chances in Dallas from a psychological standpoint as we have no testicles when we play on the road.

I hope that changes but coming to Dallas will be very tough and I expect to lose.
