I was expecting a much bigger crowd coming off the bowl win. It seems to take a lot for the city of Dallas to support a team other than the Cowboys.
How many season tickets do you think the Ponies sold?
If it's not raining, the missus and I will be at the game.

We should see well over 20,000 IF our athletic marketing realizes what I told them to do and set up ticket booths in three locations on the BLVD. to help talk MORE PEOPLE INTO THE GAMES. Don't give them the excuse that "it is too hard to get tickets on game day at the stadium" which SMU athletics has dropped the ball on for years with limited access to get a gameday ticket from SMU. Just for the record, a month ago they were telling me they were seriously considering doing this so we will see. Hope so...The BLVD. obviously is the best place to RECRUIT FANS and we just let them slip away before the game with very little effort in the past to encourage BLVD. fans to attend our games.

15240 most likely less based on number of people on blvd

Looked like about 18,500 but could be higher. Solid on the the home side but hardly anyone in the upper section on the visiting side or upper endzone. Good student turnout and probably a lot of people came and went due to the weather.
Can SMU pick one color for everyone to wear at the games? It adds some impact when everyone wears the same color.
Mrs. Tristatecoog said that wasn't "Zachline" that carried the ball.
