Former SMU cornerback Bryan McCann has had a wild ride over the last few months. Disappointed to go undrafted, he was elated to get signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys. But the Cowboys cut him Saturday, with the hopes of placing him on their practice squad. McCann was disappointed again, but he never made it to the practice squad, because he was picked up by the Baltimore Ravens.
Known to have one of the NFL's elite defenses, the Ravens saw McCann as a boost to their secondary and special teams, and added him to the 53-man roster. McCann visited with PonyFans.com to discuss his range of emotions, his thoughts about joining the Ravens, and his reaction to suddenly being a divisional rival of former SMU teammate and current Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

Thanks for the interview and Bryan should be proud of all that he has accomplished so far in his life......he had many hurdles but kept battling....awesome!

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

3 corners on active roster is not a good idea, especially in the NFC East.

Can you imagine the smack-talking if Sanders and McCann ever line up across from each other? (Actually, I expect ES would win that — McCann doesn't seem like he would talk as much.)
