Montana State is FCS, not D-II.

They are "still" Div 1aa (now called FCS). Div-II is a separate division of cfb

Sweet Christmas, I sure hope so! What I saw tonight didn't exactly look like a high-scoring offensive unit. Just sayin'.

FBS = Div 1-A
FCS = Div 1-AA
Then you have Division II and Division III

I believe that the NCAA has a rule that you can only play teams from one classification lower, not two. In other words, an FBS team can play an FCS team, but not a Division II team. The only exception to that is if a team has moved up a classification and has already has someone on their schedule from a lower classification. I think Western Kentucky played one or two D2 teams their first year in FBS because of that.

I didn't know that. A few years ago (10?) ULL lost at HOME to North Alabama (a perennial D-II power). If losing to a FCS school is bad, how bad is it to lose to a D-II school?
