Padron, receivers, or coverage?

I have to say they had good coverage, especially on deep routes. Or it looked that way to me.

From what I've seen so far I'm putting most of it on the Recievers and their inability to get open.

Padron hasn't looked as sharp as I thought he would be but at the end of the day the kid makes plays and wins.

AR is getting the bulk of the defensive attention but he dropped a difficult but catchable TD, almost the exact play the ES made last season.

DJ is coming on.

We need others to step up. Haynes drops took him out of the offense, he did not see the ball again. Others need to step up... did I say that already?

Padron was better this week. More poised and not throwing it to the other team.

My fear is our secondary. There were several plays with wide open receivers down field. Because we were focusing on the run?

The biggest gains in the passing game for UAB were with on of their recievers matched up on a linebacker which on the plays I can remember was yenga who doesn't look comfortable covering in space. Fortunately smith bailed us out with the huge hit and fumble.
