The used to have a tent for that on the south end but apparently was not a success.

You are half right...sitting in a tent over there just to eat pre-packaged sandwiches was not exactly the "exclusive vibe" that they were trying to convey. And every attempt to have adult beverages in that area was killed enthusiastically on more occasions than I can count. Sad that the introduction of adult beverages would have made the concept viable, but that really is the reality of the situation.

Actually, we've done it all the time in the past four years. Just about every game I've been to, we did the thing where we stomp on the bleachers and yell go.

You misunderstand me. I know it happens every game. In fact, I think the band does it specifically at a certain point in the game. (I'm assuming this is not someone in the band.) If you will actually read what I wrote and having not missed an SMU home football game in 16 years, I will reiterate that I have not seen the entire student section dancing in unison with the band to that particular chant/song. And I thought it looked awesome.

It was a sight that I have never seen before. If it happened in the past there must have only been 3 or 4 students left to do it. Looked good from the west side.
