Almost the same situation as last year. If our offense was in sync I would feel better but we better prepare as if it were going to be a dogfight because it just might be.

Montana State gave up 41 points last year per game in 1AA or whatever and almost beat Wazoo. I hope the passing game finally gets going,and we don't come out flat. Regardless, Line will look like the best fullback in the country anyway, but I want the guys to sharpen their game prior to tcu. Hopefully some fans will show up this time. SMU is going to win this game. I want to state my belief in that clearly (so easy on the hate mail - plus I am already in with the leg breakers that SMU will win atleast another 8 games this season so I need this one)

I don't think we will cover the spread. 20pts? Really? I know WSU is the laughingstock of the Pac 10, but we are not 20pts better than anybody before the first snap. The Spread is so high because Vegas cannot convince anyone to bet on Wazoo. Wazoo boosters won't even bet on Wazoo. We just don't have the depth or found our offensive flow yet to justify this kind of early spread. This might be our breakout game (I REAAALLLYYY HOPE SO), but 20 Pts on Monday?

No, I have finally learned my lesson - I think. The Shylocks aren't taking my money (yet again) because I bet with my heart rather than my head. I am sitting this one out.

We beat the spread twice. One could argue that we could have done better vs. TTU without the mistakes but we also blocked 2 FGs and they stupidly went for it on 4th in their territory.

We are not 21 points better than UAB, yet. Still need to get the passing game in order.

ESPN reports that Keenum is going to be day to day decsion. From the tone of the coach, I would think he is going to play. The problem with any concussion is that symptoms can crop up several days later. I don't think their medical staff is going to provide a definitive answer before Wednesday - if at all.
