Not as deep at DB than we thought...

Postby ponyscott » Sun Sep 12, 2010 8:00 pm

Randy Mckinnon, the transfer DB from Syracuse was injured last night and will undergo an MRI tomorrow and he is worried, per his FB ....and Sterling Moore may not be at full strength going forward either....
Rest Moore for WSU and get him back for TCU?

I think it's a very good idea to rest Moore

Was McKinnon the one that got hurt on the kickoff? I thought it was #5 but that showed to be Loftin and I knew it was not him.

Parks is more talented than the other 2nd string CB's, he is just still learning the system.

We are still a year or two away on the depth issues at many positions. WAtch out next year but we will be fine. We have good def coaches who should be able to cover any weak areas. Our def guys play hard and play smart this year.....no late hits or personal fouls compared to prior years.

I thought it was interesting to see Castro play with the second team defense instead of Robinson or any of the young guys...
