Jack Ingram at Homecoming

Postby Stallion » Tue Sep 14, 2010 9:29 pm

heard from a friend at Red River that Ingram is appearing at SMU's Homecoming. Haven't seen that mentioned. Anybody know the details.

apparently it was on his myspace-listed here at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 at Dallas Hall

This is Texas. If you dont have the taste to like country then at least have the sense to be quiet.

I will never be quiet. I love Texas I have lived here 30 years. I know places you have never been in Texas.
I do not like country music.

You may be listening to the wrong era. Austin and the Armadillo in the 70s...was definitely cool.

Forget Nashville...it's not where it is at.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

On my late night drive back from Lubbock I was tuned in to classic country station as I drove down Ranger hill I felt as one for a short moment with the legends of country.

That's the best I can do.
