Referees

Postby GeorgiaMustang » Sat Sep 18, 2010 3:58 pm

Should not have been a personal foul, and on the punt, the guy was blocked but changed direction intentionally hitting the kicker. Both were BS calls.

That (the WSU touchdown on the fumbled punt) was a really bad call.

I could've sworn it was CFO.

Not that I really care at this point...but yes he is the CFO. It wasn't pretty but our defense kept things interesting. And our offense showed signs of life and glimpses of was is to come.

I had taken my daughter out to get some water and to let her cool off and saw the bad call on the punt on the TVs. I was yelling, "what a horrible call" and there was a cop about 10 feet from me and he quickly snapped his head around as if a fight was getting ready to break out.

By far 2 of the absolute worst calls I've ever seen (that and the roughing the passer on JG Davis). I get that the refs are going to miss some calls, but seriously those were absolutely pathetic. And they even reviewed the one on the punt!

That game should have been 35-7. I'm just glad we didn't give one away to them again and that even with the BS ref calls, we came away with a W.

the roughing the QB was actually a personal foul on the receiver I believe. WSU's receiver dropped the ball and then the SMU player allegedly hit that receiver late

I haven't checked the TIVO yet, but at the game, I thought the "pass" was thrown to a lineman, which made it even more BS.

In years past, those types of calls would have lingered on with our team, where June seems to keep the team focused better afterward.
