My estimation was 20,000, so I have no reason to believe this is not an accurate figure.

They did not show the stadium very much on the TV...when they did, it didn't look good and they cut away

This is a real problem that needs to be corrected this year. Fraternities, sororities and other student organizations need to take the lead. Bthere shout be 4000 or more students at each game!

18,000 may have "paid" but 5,000 of them decided not to show up

wasnt great, but i expected worse with the heat and 2:30 kickoff. as usual, very few kids were there for a day game because families have things to do. i still say 5 pm is ideal kick time for SMU.

Haven't seen the TV shots, but from our seats on the east side (yes, I just stopped sweating), the home side did seem more filled than last week, but they were packed in the upper deck shade.

Was pleasantly surprised at the turnout from the WSU crowd.

LOL!!! Yeah - you're right.

But the $10 ticket idea is a good start & should be the norm for now & in the future.

better than ECU a few years ago...but heat and KO time are a no win in mid September in Dallas.

I miss Russ Potts as well...bring on his kind of unsecured artillery.

This is how you get students (our students) to the games and to stay. All students that attend get a wristband and some sort of stamp hen the game is done. This get's you into a sick afterparty that everyone wants to be at maybe with the players too (with coach approval ofcourse). Get some good live music, some drink specials and make it the thing to do on a Saturday night.

People on the blvd that did not go into the game would not number even 200 so that's not a big problem that I can see. Great time today!
