Refreshing!Listening to and watching the JJ post-game interview, I can't tell you how refreshing it is to listen to a man - a football teacher - simply use the language and speak. No coach speak, wild-eyed lunacy. He is as close to a football version of John Wooden - at least in his approach to "teaching" the game - as anything to come along in years. Better yet, his style gets results. Even when talking about the crowds and officials calls, he simply takes a rational, ordinary man approach. Glad he's on our side. I have to respect what Gary Patterson has built over here in Ft. Worth. But, given the choice of watching and/or listening to the two, JJ gets my nod every day. Patterson hurts my ears - in language and style. I would feel that way if the roles were reversed. I hope TCU finishes a close 2nd next week now.
Long live Thomas Sowell!
