O in the first half was horrible. Suddenly we start playing in the second half. What changed? Is it Padron?
In the end we finished with good stats, but it still felt like the offense has major issues. I just don't know what to think.

Re: Is the Offense on track now?not there, yet. but, getting there. they'll grow through the season.
Re: Is the Offense on track now?it's a progress. at least we finally got a big play. - he needs to get his reads still. He was playing better last year for sure.
Re: Is the Offense on track now?Encouraging signs:
Al kept his head in the game, and when the ball was thrown his way, he CAUGHT it. Kyle threw the ball VERTICAL. Loved it. No picks, was, of course, very nice.I still think he progressing through his reads slowly, if he gets to them at all, but they are getting better. He seems EXTREMELY [deleted] himself. I remember one third down) play in specific where the coverage was good, he takes off and runs, gets the first down and gets out of bounds without getting hit (all in all, an outstanding play)... and he seemed frustrated at the end of it he didn't get more. I like the attitude, to an extent. I want him to want to excel, but not get frustrated that every play in not a TD. In my opinion, heads up, WSU would beat UAB. And we looked better against them. I like it. Things could be better, but they are not bad. Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.
Re: Is the Offense on track now?Agree with Pony_Fan that it was good to see we finally got a big play. He definitely seems to be seeing the field better and making better choices. I think he needs to get the ball up and over the defenders a bit more as he had several balls tipped or knocked out of the way.
I think the offense is progressing. It will help to get Haynes and Holman in the mix more since they are taller targets. This next week is going to be tough obviously, so I don't know if we'll be able to judge the state of our offense in the TCU game. Beyond that will be a better indication. All in, we have won the 2 games that we should have won, and the game where we should have lost, we were in it until the end with a chance to tie in the closing minutes. As they say, I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty, so I'll take where we are right now.
Re: Is the Offense on track now?Not quite:
Too many sacks and need a consistent receiver opposite of Al. Crazy excited about the run game and how our backs aren't really getting touched until the second level. Testament that we are more physical. Ofcourse a true test of whether an offense is clicking will be this weekend..... Pony Up!!! "I'm always going to do things on the highest level.
