Purple rain -

Remember the name - darryl fields. He will be the reason you will not be in a bcs game. Just like demyron martin in 05 - I think you remember that guy...

The Vegas line is 17-18....If you consider that a blowout, then it will be a blowout...

TCU campus really does suck...

SMU 28 TCU 17

You have to figure the Home Field Advantage and the Coaching go to SMU. Give a nod to SMU's front 7 for defense. And Padron/Darius/Aldrick/Keenan/Darryl way too much for TCWHo

Remember, Bo Levi is not playing offense for TCU this year by passing it straight to your DBs.

Yes Tank Carter is an unreal LB and the rest of the D is pretty stout, but do you really think that TCU will limit SMU to only 14 points?

The line was 26? last year and you won by 25....

I think we cover 18...but if all the frogs coming over here think it should be 28...I am willing to take anybody's size +28

Thanks

Of course, if Margus Hunt gets loose in the Froggie backfield, there might be two or three injured Froggies on one play, then it becomes a war.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I've watched a lot of rivalry games over the years. . .and yes, they can sometimes confound predictions. Take for example 1997, when we were playing for a bowl bid and TCU was 0-10. Or conversely, the 2005 game when the Toads were coming off a huge win against OU and we were mired in the middle of PB purgatory.

However, there is a point when even a rivalry game can become predictable. Let's face it, TCU is playing to get into the national championship game and this is an opportunity to showcase their team on national TV (irrespective of the Friday night complaints). They will show up with one intention, to resoundingly beat SMU on national TV and impress the pollsters. Unless some huge momentum changer happens early (let's say a QB sack by SMU where Dalton fumbles, we run it back for a TD, and Dalton sustains an injury that keeps him out for the rest of the night), I expect this one to go according to script. TCU is a senior-laden team firing on all cylinders and SMU still has holes.

TCU- 45
SMU -17

Next year though. . .that could be a good one!

Sam I Am wrote:OK, somebody needs to predict the BIG upset and here goes. SMU has the better QB, but with less experience. The Defense is the BEST since the DP. The receivers have glue fingers. Special teams are more than adequate. TCU is over rated and over confident. The game is not in Ft. Worth. JJ is a better offensive minded coach than Patterson. SMU has enough advantages to win this game. This is NOT last year's team. The teat has found its identity at long long as Winners. SMU to win by 10.

The "teat" has found its identity? Didn't know "teats" had identities, other than right and left.

The teats ID

Postby Sam I Am » Mon Sep 20, 2010 12:52 pm

When SMU was a teaty baby team, that was their name. Now the teats have tatoos that say Thunder and Lightning, and there are gold rings in both of them. Typos can serve a good purpose, like dooming the Sleestak people to sucking their thumbs and crying for thier mommas on Friday night. Kiss a top ten rating goodby, and welcome to Pony Hell.

No score prediction, but my expectation is that SMU plays competitively.

We will lose but we'll make it a very good game. Baylor is a disaster led by a coach who doesn't have a clue. We're a solid team just not on the level of a TCU yet. Next year's game will be epic.
Back off Warchild seriously.
